podcast studio · birmingham

a podcast studioyou let yourselfinto.

Two rooms, both of which take a podcast. Studio Two has a window side interview nook and a styled lounge, which is the one most people want on camera. Studio One is the darker, controlled room if you would rather light it yourself.

Podcast kit is a £30 an hour add on and it is set up and ready before you arrive. Add it at checkout and the room is rigged when you walk in.

Studio Two: the styled lounge set with a sofa and a window-side nook, lit by daylight

two guests or six.

Studio Two holds twelve, Studio One holds ten, and the whole floor takes twenty two. A two hander in the window nook and a six person round table both fit without rearranging the building.

Think in episodes, not hours. Most people batch: four or five episodes in an afternoon costs less per episode than doing them one at a time, because every hour after the first two drops by £5.

record it, or film it properly.

Audio only is the cheap version and plenty of shows do fine on it. But the clips are what grow a podcast, and clips need cameras.

If you want it filmed and edited rather than just recorded, book and pay for the room and the kit here first, then message us with what you need and we will quote the production on top. We run the content side for real businesses across Birmingham, so this is not a favour we are guessing at.

being honest about the room.

This is a content studio, not a treated voiceover booth. It is a real room in a real building with 8 ft ceilings. For interview podcasts, video podcasts and anything that will be watched as much as heard, it is exactly right.

If you are recording an audiobook or something that needs a dead acoustic, say so before you book and we will tell you straight whether to come here.

what it costs.
